We need to take self reporting more seriously.
Already trivially easy to create a fake voice that sounds almost exactly like anyone you can get a couple hundred word sample of.
A podcast I watch had a meme contest lately and half of it was celebrity voices using this technology.
I don’t know how we authenticate audio alone anymore.
Learn to enjoy it.
Eventually, we will develop AI that can tell the difference. Only rich people with have access to the AI and be able to navigate a fake-filled world while the masses will be manipulated even moreso than today.
