Hafer’s choice of epithet is revealing. One doesn’t even have to like the Proud Boys to know that calling them racist is ridiculous. The group’s leader is sometime FBI-informant Enrique Tarrio, an Afro-Cuban. It famously attracts Hispanics, Asians, and Polynesians. The Proud Boys are all-male and proud “Western chauvinists.” Hafer could have called them violent, or stupid, or a potential federal op. But instead, he chose to call them racists, the one slur against them that is completely indefensible.

The Hunter Biden / impeachment shit is going to backfire, there is no appetite for that crap.
The hardcore MAGA bros will be excited, but most casuals will care about the Biden impeachment about as much as they cared about the never-ending Trump investigations. Main difference is that the Dems won’t have the stones to just not show up when subpoenaed.
It will be eaten up by the hardcore Fox-watching part of the Republican base, but the part of the GOP that doesn’t watch FoxNews will be much more meh.
I think the hardcore MAGA types would be bored put of their minds, they want blood. People trying to hang Mike Pence aren’t going to be impressed by hearings. BORING.
