Thanks for the reply. The Herald article and video make things a bit clearer and his beating was excessive, but not politically motivated. Iā€™d like more evidence pointing to Rubio or his campaign having direct involvement. The fact that Monzon didnā€™t claim political motivation until Rubio broke the ice is suspect and warrants further investigation. I can also imagine a USSC ruling stating this kind of fuckery is perfectly legal (for Rā€™s only, of course) somewhere down the line and probably way sooner than I expected.
