They’ve said “surgery”. I have not heard brain surgery. I doubt they would be saying he’s expected to make a full recovery if he was enduring brain surgery, but who knows.

Pelosi was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and was undergoing brain surgery, according to NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit, citing a hospital source. A source said earlier he was being treated for facial injuries and was in stable condition.
