@jmakin , I think what you were describing above is equity for everybody, not equality. I think if I used equality for day gay marriage, the derps would day âa gay man is equally able to marry a womanâ.
I think equity encompasses the idea that everyone gets what they need to succeed or be happy. People will need different levels of support. Itâs why somebody making $10/hr qualifies for help while someone making $150k/year doesnât.

I had a convo about this with some MAGA dipshit who wonât admit that is what he is. It was not very productive. He basically admitted that he had no knowledge of any actual grooming taking place, or exactly how it went down. He just said that the fact that his fellow dumbasses were concerned was cause for concern.

Yeah I mean thatâs probably the tone on this specific topic from the video but, anecdotally, lots of conservatives have problems with interracial relationships, migration, gay marriage, sex education etc etc etc, with the same reasoning.
And these are all things that the young generation largely is tolerant/accepting of and they absolutely hate that

Conservatives need not shy away from making these arguments because they betray some cherished libertarian fantasy about free markets and small government. It is time to clear our minds of cant.
To those who worry that power corrupts, and that once the right seizes power it too will be corrupted, they certainly have a point. If conservatives manage to save the country and rebuild our institutions, will they ever relinquish power and go the way of Cincinnatus? It is a fair question, and we should attend to it with care after we have won the war.
