So you sent $50 to Donny and then your card got charged $50 a month for 4 months until you complained, and now maybe you’re not so keen on sending $50 to Blake Masters or JD Vance. Bummer. It would be amazing If Trump could turn the national Republican party into the CA republican party.
This may be common knowledge but there’s a MAGA-friendly response to the 1619 Project called “The 1776 Curriculum”. It’s pretty much exactly what you’d think it would be:
The 1776 curriculum, which focuses on history and civics, was developed by Hillsdale College, a private Christian school in Michigan. It was partly inspired by what former President Trump called a “patriotic education.”
Not reading the article, but it sounds like the “1776 curriculum” is basically what was taught in schools for the last 200 years or so?

Yes but with the Holocaust taught as a “controversy” followed by a few chapters outlining the great things the Nazis did before they were cancelled by Radical Liberals.

The Reddit post in the landlord thread took me down a rabbit hole to a Reddit post about this guy… A pastor in Kentucky who practiced rattlesnake-handling while preaching. His church opposes all medical care. He was bitten in the face by the rattlesnake while preaching, a member of the congregation drove him to the hospital and he survived.
He inherited the role as pastor from his father when he was just 23 years old. His father died… from a rattlesnake bite he suffered while snake-handling while preaching.
I put it in this thread because obviously these folks voted for Trump and are all-in on the leopards eating their own faces.

I remember watching part of a documentary on HBO called Alabama Snake about a snake handling pastor who tried to kill his wife via rattlesnake bites.
