On one hand, Republicans say that only Christians should have media access to political candidates.
On the other hand, Democrats say that getting a college education shouldnāt require decades of soul crushing debt.
So in a way, both parties are to blame for this shift to the extremes.

I mean, sure. But weāre also living in a world where the parents of your typical Southern Evangelical these days didnāt consider Catholics to be even Christian, let alone useful allies. Thereās been a big shift in that attitude since Roe.
And if you push them hard enough youād find that Catholics are just ahead of Jews who are ahead of Muslims. They donāt even know about Hindus and Sikhs and Buddhists. Those are all just different Muslim favors.
Not sure where us non believers get placed.
Human starts above Catholic somewhere though occasionally the Catholics and Jews are useful. Catholics for abortion and Jews for keeping the holy land ready for the rapture.
