so the river to the sea shit is basically a group that is actively trying to eliminate a group of people from a certain area mad at another group bc they are talking about trying to eliminate a group of people from a certain area? that’s just swell.

“From the river to the sea” has become a set of words where different people have decided that it means different things. It’s usage is basically guaranteed to inflame people on both sides, so that’s how people are using it.

It’s incredibly frustrating to see the conversation monopolized by what is essentially a trolling semantic game, with arguments over who really meant what and people deliberately misconstruing what’s being argued for. Just say what you mean and run with that, if you think Israel should be wiped off the map,just say so. If not, stop using slogans that will be construed as such.

Hamas’ ultimate goal is the elimination of Israel. And it has been just that from their inception.
In my opinion:
Hamas should surrender immediately if they really care about the lives they supposedly care about. Hamas started this terrible war. The blood is on THEIR hands.
What a new and refreshing take that has never been put forward before.

Saw this analogy not too long ago. Lets say an older and younger brother get desert, younger brother gets less and gets mad and says to older brother “I’m gonna kill you.” He then hits older brother with a big stick.
Should the older brother be justified in anhilating younger brother with his fists because he is bigger and stronger?
