? he says play it as it lies… but that’s not the rule.
Golf influencer is a very lucrative business nowadays, this is either his attempt to become one or maybe he already is one
Play it where it lies is funny. Relief is not.
What’s ridiculous was that weird “sand trap” grounding your club rule in Wisconsin several years ago.
So is having people call in after watching in super slow-mo on their TV.
Their group plays by their own rules, which he states is “play as it lies”, no matter what (28 seconds in)
Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell told the court that the evidence against Scheffler doesn’t even meet the lower standard of “probable cause.”
“Therefore based on the totality of the evidence my office cannot move forward in the prosecution of the charges filed against Mr. Scheffler,” O’Connell told the court, dropping all charges.
Ok. Fine. But try not to get suspended every year. Thanks.

That PS about the $80 pants is pants on head chefs kiss.
The guy is unreal.
Phhht. He couldn’t even overcome a little arrest to win a major.
He tripled the ninth today (hit his drive OB) and still managed to increase his lead.

So since he switched putters he’s 3+ strokes better than an above average tour player, insanity. Wonder what his handicap would be, +10?
Anyone watch the end of the tournament yesterday? Seemed like Morikawa made a mistake by playing it safe on the 16th (? The par 3 where the pin was tucked in the left corner requiring like. 200 yard carry over water). Seems like 1 down to the best player in the world you need to be aggressive there and take a chance.
I was actually watching the back 9 with an eye on Morikawa’s aggressiveness, since I needed him to finish behind Hadwin, for wagering purposes.
I think he played it fine. He was 1 back at that point I think? And you’re entering the toughest stretch of the course for the final three holes. There was one birdie all day on 16, and if you miss in the wrong spot, it’s over. And Scottie wasn’t immune to bogeys this week. So I don’t think it’s the worst thing there to play for a par (obviously he didn’t get it) with the idea that Scottie might come back to you at some point. Or that you might more aggressively hunt the birdie on 17, which doesn’t really risk you putting it in the drink.
There just isn’t a chance to get that ball close on 16. Your landing area is so shallow and the greens are so firm that it seems actually impossible to get the ball inside 10 feet.
They’ve redone that hike hole like 4 times and it has remained shitty every time. Lol Jack.
