Cubano is the most overrated sandwich in this thing. It’s not a bad sandwich. I’m always kind of excited to eat one and I when I get it, it is always a bit of a disappointment. Never bad, but never blown away.
I’ll give it one thing. It’s consistent. Very high floor. But that’s not the game. It’s got a low ceiling and it’s surprising that it has even made it this far.

Grilled cheese most definitely trucks a cold ham and cheese any day of the week but grill it up and there’re some life choices to make.
I may wait this one out and see if I can play Pence at the end.

It’s really a referendum on ham. Take a grilled cheese. Now add ham. If you like ham, it wins. If not it loses.
Surely no one who likes ham thinks ham makes it worse.
Grilled cheese gonna need a bigly kosher/halal turnout.

The problem is that the contender is a “ham and cheese sandwich” yet the picture is of a grilled ham and cheese. TWO COMPLELY DIFFERENT SANDWICHES DAMMIT. I’m pro-ham but it’s goat-itude is very much in the presentation.

Per the instructions, it’s the best one that you can reasonably get. So if the best one is grilled ham and cheese, then that’s what you’re voting for. Grilled ham and cheese is definitely a form of a ham and cheese sandwich. There is even a damn photo for anyone who might be confused about that.
