I guess it’s the German attention to detail.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but eating raw pork isn’t safe.
I’m going to Berlin in a week with my girlfriend. I now know what to try eating!
OK I didn’t want to go here but that sandwich is anti-semitic.
…not more than Cheesesteak.
…remember they call it “Hackepeterschrippe” there!
Also, anti-Muslim and (some) Christians. Three major religions all basically agree that pigs are gross and, meanwhile, Germans are just out here Yoloing.
Kettle is a Kirkland item? I see them in all the stores. That packaging confuses me but the chips entice me.
Kettle is definitely not a Kirkland brand, they just carry them in the warehouse.
It might be that the size is Kirkland-exclusive.
Thread needs more sandwiches imo
Yeah we buy them at costco. Idk if they’re exclusive to costco or if it’s just the giant bag is
Dang there are a couple of real dilemmas for me in round two.
Round one is in the books.
We had some unfortunate matchups like Italian Sub vs. Jewish Deli Pastrami, and Egg Salad vs. Cucumber Tea (albeit unfortunate for very different reasons).
Minced Raw Pork got salmonella because it was outside of Germany, and bowed out early.
PB&J went down to the surprise of some, to a sandwich many of us had never heard of.
And we had our very own Georgia Tech vs. Cumberland with Gryo vs. British Chip Butty.
Round 2, Heat 1 voting starts now. Clear your bowels!
Your #1 seed comes out swinging vs. some French concoction that clearly would be better with an egg on top.
Fried chicken sandwich (can include Nashville hot chicken if that floats your boat)
Croque Monsieur
- Fried chicken sandwich
- Croque Monsieur
Two sandwiches that are in my top 5, if not top 2, go head to head in round 2. It’s like Rocky vs. Rambo.
French dip
Reuben

Meatball sub (@clovis8)
Chicken salad

Meatball sub continues to draw cupcakes.
