GOAT Sandwich Tourney! (no actual goats were harmed)

Have you tried it?

No, but I can think of a few things I’ve never tried and don’t need to…

What kind of chips are best?

For PB&J imo basic Lays would be best.

For tuna or other sturdier sandwiches, Cape Cod.

Yeah you cant go wrong with Lays or Ruffles. Whichever you prefer. This is one of those don’t knock it till you’ve tried it things.

The IHop Rooty… OK, I’m not saying that out loud, but those chips were surprisingly good but perhaps too jammy for a PB&J, probably better on a cheese burger or something more savory. I’m getting blood work this week so I haven’t tried the chips with extra honey and butter on them…

Ruffles have slightly more crunch than Lays imo, so thats what I go with.

I enjoyed the Honey Butter but man, there is a limit on how many you can eat before you start feeling sick and that limit is not very high

That seems like a positive

At Boulevard Barbecue, run by a friend of my family (well it was, he died, I’m not sure who’s running it now). It was on Diners and Drive-Ins with Guy Fieri.

The normal Big D is w/o the sausage. It’s my favorite BBQ brisket sandwich in the world. They cut the beef from the point at the top of the brisket round, so it’s extra rich and juicy. This looks amazing with the sausage.

I don’t think I can do chips on a sandwich.

Regular Lays are trash, unless you like paper dipped in grease.

Why/how does the raw pork not make you sick?

…why would it?

From the google

Is eating rare pork safe?

Unlike steak, which can be eaten without being fully brown on the inside, pork that’s bloody (or rare) on the inside should not be consumed.

This is because pork meat, which comes from pigs, is prone to certain bacteria and parasites that are killed in the cooking process.

Thus, when pork isn’t cooked through to its proper temperature, there’s a risk that those bacteria and parasites will survive and be consumed. This can make you very sick.

Dunno, I never got sick from Mettbrötchen.
