Glenn Greenwald and Friends: Fearless Adversarial Fox News Contributors

If Twitter and Facebook are treated as monopolies and regulated as such, wouldn’t that make the case to apply the First Amendment standards of free speech to those platforms more compelling? How could the federal government regulate twitter as a monopoly and still have twitter ban certain people for certain political views?

Who do you want to judge what is a lie and what is not a lie? The government? Unelected technocrats?

People aren’t being banned solely for political views anywhere though. People like Alex Jones are being banned for hate speech, threats etc.

A platform like fb will never allow you to post porn at will for example. A world where you can post anything legal and not get banned on fb just doesn’t exist.

Its worth a reminder that FB/Twitter in Germany/other places is regulated/censored more with their anti nazi laws

I’m so glad we have this thread where Keeed can get all the Keeeding out of his system he needs, and not Keeed all over the other threads.

Who has been banned from Twitter for a political view?

Lol keed

Let’s say there’s a bulletin board in a community where people can post various fliers. It’s fine for the community to ban people from posting pornography or profanity but not fine to ban certain political parties or political views.

bump

Who decides that nudity and profanity are harmful and thus should be banned? I mean this argument can go on forever.

That did not answer why nudity is ok to censor it just restated it is.

And why are some words ok to censor?

You make it sound like it is impossible for anyone to determine what the truth actually is. And you haven’t really made a case why all views should be allowed on Twitter or any of the other huge social media platforms.

Because banning all nudity is content neutral. You can ban pornography to preserve community standards but not, say, specifically interracial pornography while allowing other pornography.

Guess he gets to decide what’s ok for twitter to allow or not. At least if they agree with his views of accepted censorship.

Does random house have to publish my newest book “1001 ways Keed gonna Keed”? It has a forward by Inso.

If not it’s clearly censorship!

You didn’t answer my question.

Perhaps because it’s galactically stupid. Just sayin’

Seems more likely because you don’t have a satisfactory answer.
