That’s funny because UP News suggests throwing either the mashed potatoes, gravy or cranberry sauce at them. Our experts tell us that the color of their attire and egregiousness of their racism should help to dictate the choice of food item to send airborn while giving thanks.

Before she tweeted this, Pete’s ad had 40k views. Now it’s got 1.1m. Thanks, AOC!

Yep thank goodness someone in politics is willing to call out the power hungry weasels.

Pete is so blatantly power hungry and craven.

I have mixed feelings on this.

Free University is often terribly regressive, with the parents of poor kids paying middle class and rich kids to go to uni.

It’s a LOT more expensive than high school and primary, and there’s a bunch of economics suggesting that primary schooling has a greater social benefit than university, with secondary somewhere in between. While uni has the greatest individual benefit overall.

That said, she makes some pretty convincing points.

Also, any discussion about the opportunity cost of government spending in the US is pretty lopsided right now, because you could just stop spending on the military and ridiculous agricultural subsidies.

If you all ever get to the point of it being a tradeoff between building a few more extra hospitals in your successful and well funded national health service or further expanding free tuition, then maybe we can revisit the debate. Until then, pretty much any expansion of education is a good thing.
