Stephen Donziger is the lawyer who is kept under indefinite house arrest for representing indigenous groups against Chevron and literally prosecuted by Chevron lawyers.

Protesters getting charged with Domestic Terrorism is also totally batty and fascist. The slide to fascism on the state level is mega-concerning.

Also assassinated by the state

That is not why.

Why did the judge appoint literally chevron’s lawyers to act as prosecution?

Is house arrest for literally years something that normally happens without any conviction in a fraud case?

I mean chevron prosecuted him for fraud…so…must be guilty?

He was convicted of…contempt.

How fascist is it that “contempt” is even a crime.

Oh, look, people lying on the internet:

The Hague’s Permanent Court of Arbitration ruled in 2018 that the $9.5 billion judgment should not be recognized or enforced, ruling that the judgment was “was procured through fraud, bribery and corruption.”

Why didn’t Chevron just have him murdered? House arrest? What kind of weak ass villain shit is that?

Donziger’s misdeeds are widely documented. Why does he lose in court every time? Sure seems to me the record suggests he gets his ass handed to him regardless of the circumstances of the venue.

Hell, even Sotomayor and Kagan sided against him. Wouldn’t Chevron have them be on his side to make it look right?

Donziger’s a con artist who was savvy enough to pick an incredibly sympathetic cause but not savvy enough to cover his tracks. Unless of course his goal all along was to be viewed as a martyr by the most embarrassing elements of the left.

Microbet and Chad being taken in by an Avenatti is chef’s kiss

Is that a conviction of Donziger for fraud or are you lying?

Wonder why you just posted a quote with no source.

You two are tools. Chevron gets appointed to prosecute someone who wins a suit against them and you two shills think nothing of it.

Imagine being on Chevron’s side here…or ever.

For fascist contempt charges because he was found guilty of misdemeanor charges of contempt of court. A misdemeanor for which he spent 993 days under arrest. Pretty fascist huh? But no, you are all for years under arrest for misdemeanor contempt of court and being on the wrong side of chevron. Pretty fascist huh?
