Adams crushed in the outer boroughs, the Bronx especially. Sucks that people put a cop in as mayor after everything that happened last year.
At least Alvin Bragg seems like he might win I guess.

Dunno what’s outstanding, wiley could get 2nd at least when yang votes get redistributed.
lol yang again tho
He crushed more in the Bronx than in Staten Island?
map I got, you can see who won where (and %'s therein)
for those wondering why adams
crime is the #1 issue for nyc voters right now at least according to polls, which seem solid with these results
Yes, and with 4x the overall votes in so far too.
Crypto crash + Yang loss is gonna be a double-blow for some internet dudes out there.
Obviously I would have wanted a progressive to win, but the whole living in jersey thing is kinda hilarious. Somehow it’s both the most important city in the nation but also just a complete joke.
no idea what is happening but major line movement on PI, 70/30 Adams now
now 60/40
adams is only up 2 points is what happened with absentees left according to PI comments but I don’t know where that data is from or it’s just BS yet
edit–it’s real, garcia made up significant ground in RCV. Maya was barely eliminated in the prior round.
Garcia nowhere near as good as Wiley but leaps and bounds better than Adams. I put her 4th on my ballot just for this specific situation. Hopefully she can overtake him. Absentee ballots are apparently Manhattan-heavy where Garcia crushed.
BTW, apparently it’s possible the absentee ballots are Wiley-heavy and she overtakes Garcia for second and Garcia is eliminated. Probably almost a certainty Adams is mayor then, though.
Will be great when this brand new, not at all confusing new voting system makes the white person who finished third the next mayor. Wonderful optics there.
This is getting really close.
51/49 with 120k ballots left to count.
Except for the fact that it will have worked when a former cop who ~65% of the city DOES NOT want to be mayor is defeated.
Also NYC has never had a woman mayor. Just as important in terms of representation.
