The issue isn’t just the 400 people who want reassignment surgery in prison, it’s a matter of whether or not the government respects the rights of the whole LGBT etc community. I know if the US government decided it would no longer provide kosher food to prisoners who requested it I would not think it was just about the X number of Orthodox Jews in prison.
Paying for gender reassignment surgery is a provocative edge case maybe, and that’s why we’re talking about it and that’s why some reactionaries automatically go with “what about gender reassignment for prisoners?” when a librul talks about LGBT rights.

you can hold up the latest pronouncement from Modern Medicine on this matter as gospel… or you can acknowledge, as I’m sure you’re willing to do in less contentious moments, that psychology doesn’t understand the brain - its subject matter - very well.

No, it’s the demo site that has zero traffic other than me and ggoreo occasionally testing some dev stuff. There’s no way they’re even aware the site exists, but I doubt they’re aware this place exists either.
I assume it just means they have filters in place where we’ve exceeded some arbitrary limit for open graph requests. But I’m open to wildly speculative alternative explanations.
