Yup. This feeds the hungry while protecting the delicate whole food worker.
They are not delicate, I’m just not an asshole that wants to give them unnecessary work so I can act woke and get dopamine hits from likes on social media.

I spent quite a few years working in grocery stores in my teens and early 20’s. If somebody had ever come into one of the stores I worked and did what that guy claims I would have found it to be absolutely hilarious and easily the work highlight of my year.
This thing you’re doing where you’re trying to act like you’re standing up for the poor working peasants of retail is actually quite patronizing and degrading. They’re not mindless wage slaves toiling without thought. They do actually have brains of their own, enjoy a good joke at the expense of owners/management, and honestly would probably appreciate the break from their otherwise boring daily routine.

I may have just passed on a chance to rail my boss at the AWS conference we’re at. She weighs about 90 lbs and was getting pretty frisky after one margarita. Pretty sure it would end very very badly though.

I have a pimple on my forehead for whatever reason atm. The best I could find in the house is some Clearasil tube that expired in February of 2015. Should I buy a new tube or is this current one ok to use?

Working in a grocery store in Germany is stressful but they get paid very well esp in a ALDI or Lidl. Lidl offers 1k€ in the first year of apprenticeship. They are all battling hard for apprentices. Not sure how much ALDI pays in the US.

During my time as a sports broadcaster, I called one or two games at the Giant Center in Hershey - not their teddy bear toss, though. I didn’t actually know they had one. The team I worked for did, but it was nothing like that.
I mean, it’s not like it’s going to melt your skin off or anything. I’d assume it still works, too. My Dad once told me that expiration dates on most stuff are just a conspiracy to get you to buy new stuff.
Sometimes he just made shit up, but in this case I think he was mostly right.

Also at least pre Amazon Whole Foods was a pretty good place to work. I’ve known quite a few people who worked at the one in Louisville pre Bezos and it got glowing reviews.
