Amazon does this too. As far as I can tell it’s with low cost/low margin stuff. I imagine they’ve got some flag to keep customers on the level because I’ve occasionally been asked to return some small cost stuff. I’m sure they’ve flags to tell customers who have excessive returns
I’m finally eating the Popeye’s chicken sandwich. It’s ok. Not that great. Especially the chicken isn’t that great. I think the secret ingredient is extra salt. It was a really good bun.
Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich - still the best imo. But they don’t create artificial shortages and it’s been around forever - so it’s not exciting.
Pollo Campero is also really good if you see one. They’re starting to pop up all over LA.
Just fucking lol at all these pretenders to the throne trying to take a shot at the king. Everyone knows Wendy’s spicy chicken has been the GOAT since the 90’s.
Didn’t he tell you bitches? Spicy chicken is on the menu full time, son. You’ll be back, but Dave will be waiting.
I legit did a double-take here. I remember Pollo Campero as being that strip mall / food court fried chicken place that I went to in either Indiana or Maryland. The idea that they are somehow exporting their food to LA is deeply depressing. This is like if Panda Express opened up a restaurant in San Fransisco. That is some dark horrible alternative timeline shit.
PS: without googling, I know to a certainty there is definitely a Panda Express somewhere in Chinatown. Everything sucks.
It’s a shame no one thought to do this back when Netflix only offered DVDs.
A real shame no one did.
No one.
It is possible this is unique to batteries as there might be handling and disposal issues with returned batteries.
Do you know if this still holds up since they started taking returns at Kohl’s? I have had to return some pretty inexpensive items to Kohls or be charged. Items that previously they probably would not bother with.
Stuff like this pisses me off. I live in Gainesville FL. My apartment complex has about 20 buildings. Each building has 8 units. My building alone has 3 empty apartments. 2 have been empty at least 6 months. The 3rd one has been empty at least 3 months. Multiply this by 20 apartment buildings. Meanwhile, each time I drive under I-75, I see at least 5 homeless people. But no, don’t allow the dirty undesirables crash for a few days. Instead, make me feel guilty for something that is a societal problem while the landlord that owns 20 properties lives 100 miles away in Jacksonville.
They’re a foreign chain. They’re everywhere in Mexico and Central America. I doubt it’s the same one.
I must be confusing that with a different Pollo Something chain.
Los Pollos Hermanos?
Pendejo de Pollo - it was huge in Indiana and Ohio for a while
Nah it was like Pollo Campero or Ranchero or something like that. I think it was in on the East Coast.
A friend of mine posted on Facebook that he ordered one.
He is a:
Trumper
Libertarian
Owns a bunch of guns and continuously posts about being ready if the socialists come for his guns
Immigrant who wants to build a wall
Likes Trump because he triggers the libs
Thinks Obama was elected because of white guilt
And probably much more I can’t recall now.
How are you friends with this person?
I just couldn’t.
Mostly former friend now, I have seen him once in the last year.
We used to hang out a lot years ago and though I knew he had his libertarian views he wasn’t as radical. Lately he’s become unhinged, and I think it’s mostly because of Trump and how he feels validated by him.
