I’ve seen a ton of variance from Jiffy Lube depending on the location and who’s working that day. Whatever standards corporate might want to have, they don’t seem well enforced out in the wild.

I like the way Valvoline leaves you in your car - and yells out stuff as they’re doing it. I feel more in control.
Normally I just take my car to my local mechanic - who probably bilk me but at least I all my fluids and seals and stuff are up to date. But they have a bad habit of needing it all day.
That is good if the waiting area has nothing to do, but I swear this is true, I’ve been to some oil change places across America that have things like mini-Segas and ancient arcade cabinets like Ms Pacman. Weren’t we just discussing what value theaters could add to attract audiences? Well there you go. Oil change while you watch a movie.
I always buy the stupid air filter, it’s worth $10 not to argue with the guy about it. Such a fish.

I went directly from LHE to PLO. People who knew me from LHE were surprised I would play PLO.
How long ago? Dare I ask if you’ve mellowed with age?
Maybe 3 or 4 years ago when LHE died, but I’m talking about very low stakes online (highest was .10/.20) because there’s no way I’d have the stomach for playing PLO live.

Live LHE has a lot in common with PLO. It teaches you to get used to massively multi-way pots.
Yeah, that’s a good point. Limit Omaha Hi is massively multi-way pots in a totally different way. In a 4/8 half kill the average pots were about 120-160 without raises, and with one raise before the flop it would on average go to 200.
My problem in PLO was that no one believed me like pretty much ever…lol.
I loved playing LHE. I used to just play pocket pairs and 2 high cards. Played 4/8 at the Trop in AC. There were times I’d win $1,000 over 6-8 hrs playing nothing but top 10 hands preflop. I remember one time flopping quad jacks and by the time it was the river it was me and this other dude. If it’s heads up on the river the raises are unlimited. Dude had a boat and kept reraising me lol. That one pot alone was like $600. Those were the days. 
It would always baffle me how bad some players were. I’d fold every hand for 2 hours then raise and reraise and like 4-5 players would call lol. I’d have top set or flop the nuts or whatever and they would call me down all the time.
