the name is usually based on something near the starting point. So if there was something like “the easy E ranch” or “easy ave.”, they’ll call it the Easy fire.
The one near my house on Monday was the Sawday fire, named for the truck trail that runs near where it started.

Now if he could just add a group and event organizing functionality to twitter, I’d be able to leave FB for good.
For now, there’s literally nothing as good as FB if you want to organize community events using the internet, especially if you’re looking to draw more people in.
