i feel like purists hate the penalty kicks, it’s like having a foul shooting competition settle an nba game, etc.
but as an uncultured yank, that’s what i always root for.

I’m rooting for two more sick goals in this last fifteen! Rooting for maximum instant classic. I root for barca but honestly if barca scores to draw level and then somebody else scores to win 5-4 before pens then I don’t even care which team scores the fifth goal, they deserve it

besides that this is just a historically sick game where for the last hour it’s felt like the best two minutes of the super bowl but with three million percent fewer commercials, it’s fun to think of a half billion people watching this rn

While his hand was away from his body, it was behind him so he wasn’t unnaturally making himself bigger.

chelsea the real cinderella story of the europa conference league made their final as well..
started a 16yr old and an 18yr old. and ended up playing 3-17 yr olds in addition.

spurs rotating a bit while man united starting a full strength lineup is interesting difference in strategies.
