It was changed so if you made an attempt to get the ball it’s not both. Basically trying to get keepers sent off less.
Intentionally denying a goal scoring opportunity is still a straight red.
Thought it was super clear but because replay can’t figure out parabolas it was only a yellow

agree it’s a red, don’t agree it’s as bad as suarez if only because suarez 100% saved a goal and this was more like, what, 25% of a goal? 40% tops? Kane’s definitely going to head it but it’s also definitely a stretch and a little behind him, less so if he wasn’t also being fouled but that’s a separate issue. Completely agree with CN that the main problem here is camera angles & people being bad at ballistics: you could hear Jim Beglin (irish announcer on peacock feed) make up his mind while watching the most misleading camera angle (from the right sideline). This isn’t definitive because the perspectives are also skewed but:
anyway who cares, for me the big takeaway was that St James’ Park seems like a phenomenal atmosphere when it gets rolling. And god, City look so scary, long season sure, but sucks for the rest of the league

A little naivety in the loss, but that Arsenal have bossed all 6 games is one thing only they can say.
Even City should have probably lost to Newcastle and didn’t have control of that match until the final 30 minutes.
Undone on the counter, but I’ll take having a game of final third possession for 70 minutes any day
