WSJ has a lot more details. Gwynne Shotwell, one of the supposed adults at SpaceX, (falsely?) accuses a woman that works for her of having an affair with her husband. Woman then gets involved with Elon. It doesn’t end well.

General Motors most recent earnings 2.56 50% sequential increase on 43 billion of revenue 10% sequential increase.
Tesla most recent earnings .33 down 60% sequentially. Revenue 22 billion dollars down 8% sequentially. The quarter over quarter numbers are much worse. Remove any form of subsidies, which is almost a lock if republicans win the trifecta this November, and Tesla would have lost massive amounts of cash.
Elon’s new pay package 56 billion in stock options.
GM’s market cap 55 billion.
So in summary the company that Is shrinking just gave there CEO a pay package that is greater then the entire market cap of GM.
Stock is up huge in the premarket after Elons tweet stating the his pay raise has been approved.
