He initially sent his kids to a private school he funded in California. They later went to regular schools but he came to regret that. I assume this is him wanting to control the whole process. Sounds very STEM oriented. Woke not welcome.

If you mean that scientists support it, I’m not so sure about that.
If you mean there is sound evidence that wokeness is beneficial, you’d still get an argument. Will Kinney (physicist, kind of a jerk, but I believe completely sincere) and many others would simply reply: No, there isn’t.
Elon believes empathy is weakness. That it has no place in business, so probably also in science and education. He doesn’t experience it, at least not to a normal degree. He’s as sincere as a heart attack.

What I mean is that most mainstream conservative anti-woke sentiments are objectively false. I don’t care to expand on that, because it inevitably invites some kind of debate about hypothetical edge cases. If someone wants to criticize me for that, I wouldn’t say they’re wrong. I just don’t have the heart for it.
Same. I’m too confused to have a very strong opinion. Doesn’t matter much, but I don’t know what you mean by false in this context. It seems to me that “woke” is now just a way for people to align with or against a side. I would prefer to retreat to something more fundamental.
