Elon Musk: Dork MAGA

It is pretty strange that “go fuck yourself” didn’t lure them. Seems like cancel culture imo.

I support Elon’s FREEZE PEACH right to say stupid shit in public and damage his own vanity project.

In good faith, I thought for a while about what possible super genius 4D chess reason there might be for publicly urging your biggest ad buyers to “fuck themselves” rather than apologise for an obviously terrible social media post.

The best / only explanation I can come up with is he is purposely tanking the platform and will benefit from its failure. There’s no other explanation that makes any sort of business sense.

Of course, there’s an obvious non-genius explanation. He’s simply so rich that the money is meaningless to him, and he’s a self-absorbed freak who is worshipped by right wing nutters and is desperate for their approval.

I had never seen that ad before and I just opened Twitter and lo and behold…

From looking at the initial in depth reviews, I’ll say that the Cybertruck seems more practical than I previously thought (not withstanding crash tests).

How’s it do vs keys?

Is there a minimum crash test rating for it to be allowed to be sold/ driven on roads?

Edit: This isn’t so much a drive test as this dude slurping the technology around the truck. The closest thing they do to a road test is a straight line drag race against a Rivian and a Hummer. Otherwise it’s him blathering on about the batteries, the exoskeleton and the drive-by-wire. Virtually all the other comparisons are against Teslas, except that one against a 35? year old Lamborghini and a race against a go-cart. Literally.

Marques Brownlee reviews it.

I didn’t even think about the lack of side curtain airbags until that comparison against regular trucks.

I never understood why they call this a truck. Is it based on tow capacity? I don’t really know.

Is the passenger in the back wearing a seatbelt? If so, damn.

Edit: I zoomed and enhanced and holy smokes that seatbelt SNAPS, bro

The driver dummy also looks like its neck is broken slamming into the airbag.

Marques points out the bed is as big as an F150 lightning.
