Yeah going with the light roll and no block ability, three hits basically meant I’m dead. Def got tilted for 10-12 tries there and was off on timing or went greedy for extra hits.
I got him stuck in a loop chasing him on my horse where he would just run in a circle away from me and I could cut him off slightly and get a hit in.
It was kinda like the method in Sekiro of chasing the raging bull’s tail.

He might have been the first boss I got on the first try. He was really easy with Barricade on my shield and then counterattacking.
He gave me problems too until I remembered to use my summons and killed him in a handful of attempts. I have a similar build where I’m basically dead in 1-3 hits depending on the attack.
Anyone using sword of night and fire? Considering respeccing enough faith to go with that instead of moonveil.

The dude in Stormveil Castle that basically looks like an Octopus with 8 swords seems really tough for a build with no shield.

I got pretty close by charging in like D-Day, but if one shot hits you’re toast.
Miriam seems like an optional boss. I went off the main path to find her.

Do your responses in dialogue ever matter? It always seems so obvious what the right answer is, but say I had said I didn’t want the spirit horse, would I just not have gotten it?
