Musk unfollowed his brother (in addition to Grimes) in the last two days. Seems likely his personal life is imploding even more. Based on his brother’s recent tweets, seems like he is a Dem and has been mocking the R’s a bit, so maybe that is the cause of the tension there.

A row of FSD cars needs a lot less room between cars than humans because of their reaction speed and how far ahead they see. Even better if we allow communication between them. I know Tesla FSD is not ready and I disagree with Musks approach to FSD but people are reacting to every FSD incident as if human drivers aren’t worse on average.

Can we split the argument and say FSD will be definitely a part of the future or at least some form partial driving that and will enable safer and improved driving, but also make fun of Teslas and only Teslas because Elon’s an idiot?

One of the worst things I ever did on the road was driving down the uh henry hudson and the traffic can come out of nowhere leading up to the whitestone, anyway I was totally gonna rear end the dude at like 40 mph because I was zoning out, and were it not for split second slamming on the brakes I would have, but I just barely didn’t touch him, and the guy behind me was also thankfully paying attention and didn’t touch me, but he in turn got rear ended bad (and I only know by the sound because I didn’t see) and that was probably like a 2 hour jam for all the people behind, but like a scoundrel I just drove forward because technically I wasn’t at fault for anything even tho it was totes my fault.

Yeah you need a whole row of people paying attention in bumper to bumper traffic. And the effect can compound where the first person hits the brakes at a reasonable level, the second person hits the brakes hard, the third person has to completely slam on them.
It also helps if you have a car that sits up high and can see past the car in front of you. Of course the person behind you is hosed.
Can’t wait until they roll out fully self shooting robots to police departments across the country
