flat tires? how? my car has those nitrogen wheels that only need to be refilled like once every couple years, lol
It’s a somewhat mysterious thing about Teslas that they get flat tires like crazy. We’ve had three in 10k miles (one was a screw in the driveway, the other two were screws on the road).
We’re all set up with the ability to repair tires at home now. Once these wear down I’m getting badass tires that will last a long time.
Tesla was teasing a battery swap thing for a while but dropped it presumably because of the QC issues. They had the timing down so they could swap a Model S battery in less time than it took to fill up a comparable Audi’s gas tank.

It’ll be the thin end of the wedge.
If we don’t already use AI for making decisions on where to divert public resources for maximum return we soon will be.
And some time after that the generation of people alive at that time will wonder what all the fuss was about as AI diverts scarce resources to those who it deems the most valuable.
