I’d go far to say it’s the main problem. Musk is a social media idiot, but if he didn’t have to turn around a profit so quickly he wouldn’t have to fire half the company and make up hair brained schemes to make money quickly. I don’t know if he would have made twitter better or worse, but adding on the leveraged buyout debt problem certainly makes all the ways he’s making it worse far worse

I already saw a 20 minute guide where you can completely and anonymously create a new twitter account and pay for it, as often as you choose.

He’s so cartoonishly idiotic it’s easy to lose sight of of massive this deal was! The RJR / Nabisco LBO was $25 billion, or roughly the same size adjusted for inflation, and it is legendary.
