obviously the country doesn’t have to return any of the money he’s talking about. and most of the money he’s talking about isn’t actually real. but it would be amusing if he WAS just signing promissory notes and shit on all of these “deals” he’s doing and just hasn’t been telling anyone.

Yeah. I’m surprised this hasn’t generated more outrage. We’ve had a “war on drugs” for decades and this kind of response was never a part of it. So, would whoever we’re at war with be justified in responding to these murders with their own terrorist attacks? Seems like they would be if this is a “war”. Our government is blowing up privately owned boats. That seems like terrorism too.
Supposedly the admin is gearing up for an invasion of Venezuela, but Trump doesn’t even seem to be doing that or talking about the killings much. We’re just randomly bombing fishermen and low-level drug smugglers for no discernible purpose.
The US has been murdering people extrajudicially for 20+ years now. Maybe it would move the needle if we were doing it somewhere that it could be recorded and uploaded to social media but even then it would probably elicit shrugs.
We have all of these totally sweet missiles just hanging around waiting to be used and Nelson is President.
