Seems to me that it would be better to start deaccessioning some of our mediocre-to-shitty states. Maybe try to get down to 30 or 35. Let’s see…Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Florida, all of the Mountain West just for starters.

Canada will take the Northeast and West coast as provinces. No thanks to the rest. I understand Texas has oil and all, but I wouldn’t want the people and gun issues it brings outside of a couple cities.

Four years ago, I might have lamented the fact that WA, OR, and CA joining Canada gives Republicans a permanent supermajority in every branch of government, but, hey, now we’re already at that point. Please, take us, Canada!
