I’m American and want the borders to stay as is or I want my state to join Canada. I am also Canadian and want the borders to stay as is or I want some states (mine) to join Canada.

I actually want Canada to take the Dakotas, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming, then add DC and Puerto Rico as states and split up California and Texas so we’re back to 50.

Been noticing right wing tv explaning why we suddenly need to annex greenland and panama. Basically we need to make war now so we’re better prepared for the bigger war they’re cooking up for later

Annex Mexico and Central America, lower minimum wage to like a buck fifty, declare English the official national language and let employers implement strict draconian requirements for fluency for any kind of skilled or white collar positions. Voila, huge new influx of slave labor for at least a generation, and nobody has to be deported!

This is why I voted leave the borders alone. Changing borders tends to involve people killing each other so I’d rather not have that. If it’s just fantasy, fine.

every american on this site’s default opinion should be that they would want canada to join the US for the same reasons that we would want Puerto Rico and DC statehood. that’s easy electoral college victories for the foreseeable future.
of course in these republican fanfictions these territories acquired would be forced to become vassal states.

I’m not as hostile to religion as most people here though if its role diminishes that’s potentially fine. But part of the reason for the increased power of media is that other institutions have lost influence.
We don’t want them to lose their can do kindness, healthcare, hockey and poutine.
