While it was kind of a disgrace, I stand by the belief that we were utterly fucked this cycle anyway. Even in a timeline where we have an AG that goes HAM on Trump and he’s somehow behind bars by 2022, and Biden steps aside and we nominate the best candidate in the field, it would have been some other soulless GOP Project 2025 douchebag winning 300+ EVs and preparing to loot the country right now.
