Putting the Clintons and Trumps in jail without due process might be the thing that could heal this broken nation.

Stunning rebuke!
Hahahahhahahahahahahahhahahaga
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE GOTEM!
What a prankster
Wow check out the big brain on this judge
“Because this is now the tenth time that this court has found defendant in criminal contempt, spanning three separate motions, it is apparent that monetary fines have not, and will not, suffice to deter Defendant from violating this court’s lawful orders,” Merchan said in the ruling.
They should be able to take away Trump’s phone like he’s a 14-yr old.
The final battle

Once and for all
So in conclusion
More fines.
We got him
Fines aren’t working, so we’ll have to resort to the ultimate step. Some strong words.
I would settle for pillory in Times Square
I never listened to any of Hitler’s speeches, but I imagine they sounded pretty much like this
They can! They won’t, though.
So we’ve now seen the court find Trump in criminal contempt TEN times with nothing more than inconsequential fines, and the judge is literally saying on the record she is avoiding giving him jail time specifically because he was president. Let’s pull a quote from the Coward Merrick Garland’s statement to the House Judiciary Committee on 9/20/2023:
And our job is to uphold the rule of law.
That means that we apply the same laws to everyone.
There is not one set of laws for the powerful and another for the powerless; one for the rich, and one for the poor; one for Democrats, another for Republicans; or different rules, depending upon one’s race or ethnicity or religion.
Our job is to pursue justice, without fear or favor.
Our job is not to do what is politically convenient.
Total fucking joke. Beyond the ancient lie about there not being different set of laws for the powerful, I don’t think you can come up with a better example of doing something “politically convenient” than a judge saying, “I’m not punishing you with jail like I would others guilty of this crime, because you were POTUS.” I really don’t have faith in this process.
You didn’t finish his quote. It’s not just because he was POTUS. But because he possibly will be again
Preserving faith in the rule of law is important. Giving Trump jail for minor infractions with minimal due process, like a summary order for civil contempt, would undermine that. There are good reasons to treat Trump with kid gloves.
