I’ve been following this relatively closely. Reducing the bond amount wasn’t unexpected. He still has to post $175M, which isn’t exactly chump change. Almost $100M was posted in the Carrol case. He has the right to appeal both. In the meantime, a trial date has been set for April 15 in the hush money case
There are a ton of moving parts going on here. The guy has unlimited legal resources and is using them to throw wrenches at every opportunity. Much of this was expected and needs to play out
Your average law pundit on twitter or CNN is either completely delusional or a grifter.
I haven’t seen a single person anywhere on television speaking the truth about the Supreme Court. The only people doing it anywhere are the 5-4 crew and Balls and Strikes, who are mysteriously never invited on TV.
On the contrary, that’s when he gets to play even more golf than usual.

Probably both. Their grift is rage porn that so many eat up on a daily basis and then put their “nothing will ever happen” posts here. And while I certainly emphasize with this take and am very worried this might wind up being the case, I’m trying to remain logical and objective. He hasn’t won reelection yet and until he does, all these cases remain real and are very much in play
We must have different versions of CNN and twitter.

If everything is working as intended, it would probably look a lot like what is currently going on, to the dismay of people who want instant gratification or just want something that prevents Trump from ever being president again, but if everything is broken, it might also look a lot like what is currently going on.
We’re dealing with a wide range here and it’s a mistake to say it’s definitely one way or the other.
