Incorrect, they have not yet held that. Only 2 rounds of appeals and 4+ months left to possibly get there though!
With that said, it’s unlikely SCOTUS will hear this case. The Circuit Court is required to consider stupid cases, the SCOTUS is not.
The occasional bad apple cop (probably a gay woman of color hired under a socialist DEI initiative) is something that just has to be accepted so that white male cops with Punisher symbol tattoos are free to to murder Urban Thugs for the greater good.

Not a single rational person sincerely thinks that the president should be 100% above the law, small children grasp this immediately, our whole national mythology is based on this idea, still somehow takes Harvard Law years of deliberation to crack the mystery. You have to have your brain pounded flat by years of Ivy league sophistry for any of this to make sense.

I think you guys are being overly dramatic. Yes, it seems obvious. It IS obvious. And sure, EVERYONE including little kids knows it. Nevertheless, presidential immunity has never been tested in the court of law before. There are procedures people! lol. You have to go through the motions (pun not intended, or maybe it is)

I just can’t take this type of stuff (from a purported SCOTUS expert) seriously.
Like how the fuck are issues difficult for SCOTUS to resolve? They are the final authority, so they can resolve anything however they want to. The only way something could be difficult to resolve is if you think they are actually trying carefully to come up with just interpretations of the law. And that view is just unhinged from reality.
If the procedures we followed brought us here, then what was the point of the procedures?

The law is just one aspect of what they have to consider. They have to carefully balance law with politics, what friends/media/public think, and their legacy. All while being hypocritical and corrupt. That’s a lot to manage.

Grunching. DC said en banc review 45 day deadline but NO stay.
Or appeal directly to scotus and hope they give you a stay.
Of course, in dreamland scotus says ruling stands and issues no stay in quick order.
