I reported for grand jury duty today and was dismissed. It was at the main criminal courthouse in NYC. I think it’s across the street from where the Trump trial is happening.

I always wondered what happens if you refuse to stand when the bailiff says, “all rise” when a judge walks into the courtroom. What if you have a bad leg or back? What if your religion says you shall not rise for any mortal man? Probably a contempt charge. Fuck judges

On one hand judges have a shit load of power and often exercise it in dehumanizing ways like forcing others to engage in this bullshit pageantry. On the other hand, fuck Trump and everyone who works for him, so imma let this slide.
