Well, she painted herself into a corner. If youâre going to âhave a plan for thatâ but your plan for Medicare for All is something of the lines of âshit, I have no idea beyond hoping it works outâ people are going to notice.
Having said that, I donât know what her right play was - but she (or her campaign managers) put herself in that spot.

Competence is almost a losing lane in modern politics. Itâs Kerry, Jeb, Romney, McCain, Hillary, etc.
Better to appear fallible/human and make mistakes than set up an aura of invincibility. The Internet will ensure your myriad mistakes are discovered and laid bare in any event.

itâs also right over the holiday where nobody does polls. Legitimately a very sneaky tactic. There will be some in early january but for those who need variance in the polls to get in, I donât think theyâre getting enough polls to get in. (or steyer needing about 100 SC polls)
Steyer could get the polls and still miss as he has to hit a donor # too he probably will not. Bloomberg will have the polls but doesnât seem to give a **** about getting the workaround people thought of (merch selling) for the donors.
I guess the candidates are mad but the electorate is already wanting to narrow the field by a lot so here we are.
Yang barely made the last one, unless he gets a real surge heâs out.
