That’s the job of fact checkers. You do it in the middle of a debate and get it wrong like Castro you look like a putz.
Booker did a post debate interview on CNN where he questioned whether Joe would be able to “get the ball over the line”. Later the pundits obviously came to Biden’s defense and said Biden was “sharp” and that Booker shouldn’t get personal like that.
The establishment doesn’t want change so they’re all in on the mentally unfit to serve Joe Biden.
Moderator: Mr. Vice President, I want to come to you and talk to you about inequality in schools and race. (Biden laughs.) In a conversation about how to deal with segregation in schools back in 1975, you told a reporter, "I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation, and I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago. You said that some 40 years ago. But as you stand here tonight, what responsibility do you think that Americans need to take to repair the legacy of slavery in our country?
Biden: “Well they have to deal with the in-, look, there is institutional segregation in this country, and from the time I got involved I started dealing with that. Redlining, banks, making sure that we’re in a position where, look, you talk about education. I propose that what we take is those very poor schools, the Title 1 schools, triple the amount of money we spend from 15 to 45 billion a year, give every single teacher a raise to the equal raise of getting out the $60,000 level. Number two: make sure that we bring in to the help the stu, the teachers deal with the problems that come from home. The problems that come from home. We need, we have one school psychologist for every 1,500 kids in America today. It’s crazy. The teachers are a kind, I’m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them. We have make sure that every single child does in fact have three, four, and five year olds go to school, school, not daycare, school. We bring social workers in to homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t want, they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television, the, excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the phono- make sure the kids hear words. A kid coming from a very poor school, a, a very poor background, will hear four million words fewer spoken by the time they get there. There’s so much we, no, I’m going to go like the rest of 'em do, twice over, okay? Because, because, here’s the deal. The deal is that we’ve got this a little backwards and by the way, in Venezuela, we should be allowing people to come here from Venezuel- I know Maduro, I’ve confronted Maduro. Number two, you talk about the need to do something to Latin America. I’m the guy that came up with 740 million dollars to see to it those three countries, in fact, change their system so people don’t have the chance to leave. You’re all acting like we just discovered this yesterday! Thank you very much.”
But Castro is an ass for questioning his memory?
lol all this postmortem. The country was in the civil rights era back then.
What would be more interesting would be to name prominent Dems from the 70s that were vociferous advocates for reparations
All those going on about establishment and Biden, skip to the 1 minute mark of this video. Warren (and Bernie) are worse than Trump for the Dems moneyed backers.

Can’t wait for Biden to be the Dem candidate and have Trump to attack him personally and question his memory every step of the way. But ya terrible terrible form for others Dems to bring it up of course. Gotta play nice with sleepy Joe.
Biden should be super grateful for Thursday night football
Trump (and the Right media) will destroy Binden like he destroyed Hillary
So let’s unpack that. He starts off making a decent amount of sense, but then he pivots into “the problems that come from home.” So if he’s coherent enough to remember what he’s answering, he’s saying black students bring problems from home into the classroom. He’s saying black students need psychologists to deal with the fallout from bad parenting. He’s saying we need social workers to go into the homes of black families to teach them how to parent, and that includes leaving a record player on so their kids will hear words.
He apparently calls for a reform of the education system to begin schooling at three years old instead of five. Is this for everyone or just black kids? Have we moved on from the slavery question or not? I have no fucking idea.
As this word salad is coming out, he decides he’s on such a roll he’s going to go over… and what does he continue on with? Nothing that makes sense. He switches to Venezuela. Okay, his point there is fine, but what the fuck does it have to do with anything he was talking about? He then goes into Latin America and, again his point is okay but it’s just not coherent in the context of the question.
OK that’s 1 lol
The debates between Biden and Trump are going to be lit. We’ll all feel drunk watching them, because they’ll be jumping back and forth between topics so randomly as they ramble on about nothing in particular that we’ll generally have no idea what they’re hey is that someone’s dentures popping out of their mouth talking about as they answer questions about racism in America it’s good it’s bad it’s fine people on both am I drunk right now or is this shithole really happening Obama is my friend Crooked Hillary Obama Hillary the last president loved me before this one Hillary Comey Deep State bring America back together like Obama vote for me Joe 3030 vote for me Trump 2024 or Hillary will let the Squad ban cheeseburgers hey Donald let’s get cheeseburgers after this whaddaya say we used to do that in Scranton and Obama loves a good burger almost as much as he loves me dijon mustard on a tan suit is ISIS we’re so fucked.
Castro said that Biden changed his words over the healthcare plan in the last few minutes when it actually turned out Biden didn’t. It’s that simple. You’re a fucking hack if you think that kind of literal gaslighting belongs in a debate. It blew up in Castro’s face. It’s the fact checkers job after the debate to show who was being truthful. And as it turned out it appears Castro was right about Biden’s plan losing ten million people their health insurance, and he should’ve hammered that instead of going after Joe’s memory from four minutes before.
The actual people who landed body blows that mattered tonight on Biden were the black lady and the hispanic guy who asked him questions.
You have this really dull habit of thinking landing body blows on Biden is an actual strat. You don’t do what Castro did tonight. Biden is better at making himself look ridiculous when answering questions than anyone else on stage.

As I’ve said numerous times, I was on the side of the road after being in a car accident when the actual exchange happened and only saw the shortened clip, so I’m basing my take on the fact that Biden is clearly in cognitive decline. People aren’t all angry and ripping Castro for being off on the attack, they’re ripping him for questioning Biden’s memory and ageism. His memory NEEDS to be questioned. His cognitive abilities NEED to be questioned.
But I think I made that pretty clear, and when I repeatedly said that I was not able to see that entire portion of the debate and only saw the clips, and when I gave context to my take and you still came at me with…
Then fuck you.
Why? Because the mainstream media in the tank for Biden won’t let Castro attack Biden without going after Castro? Then it doesn’t really matter WHAT the attack was. The conclusion had already been decided.
Biden’s memory and cognitive abilities are a mess. Like, if Castro attacked him for something he didn’t actually forget, okay, that’s a mistake, but if you can watch that debate and not see Biden as someone in clear cognitive decline, I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe play it back on your record player and listen more closely this time.
He’s a shitty candidate and yet he’s the front runner, so yeah, going after him is an actual strategy.
Sure, but you still have to draw attention to it. I mean, we’re three debates in and Biden’s still the front runner. The media’s still shilling for him. The establishment is still trying to ram him down our throats. So, I don’t know, I’d probably try to draw a little attention to his inability to get through a primary debate without stumbling all over himself, making no sense, and rambling incoherently.
I’m in a lot of political groups of all stripes (well, dem groups, of course), and the vast consensus is that Castro came across really badly tonight because of that attack.
Yes, we all agree that Joe is too old and possibly in cognitive decline, but it seems like the general electorate at large has a visceral negative reaction to someone screaming at grandpa.
You may give Castro points for it, and that’s fine ( i actually thought it wasn’t that bad, either), but you’re probably in the minority.
Guys, a house divided will not stand.
Pablo and Cuse, hug it out, and get on with the business of the nation errrrr
