I was watching the post debate interviews up until the Klobster. GD that lady is hot garbage as far as being a presidential candidate goes.
Biden had a really bad night. And yeah the tv news can cover for him. The thing is this is three debates in a row where heās gotten wrecked. Do they not realize that covering for him indefinitely wonāt work? Warren has been cruising 50,000 feet above the competition every single debate. They do realize that when the field narrows and a larger % of the field tunes in sheās going to ruin him right?
Literally the smaller the field gets the harder itās going to be to protect him. At this point itās pretty obvious that heās not getting any better. Just like she isnāt fucking up and crashing and burning. What exactly is their plan for when itās Warren, Biden, Bernie, and Yang up there in January?
His worst moments were when he was going back and forth with Bernie and Warren about health insurance. That looked REALLY bad, and moderate voters wouldnāt have liked it at all.
Iām sorry but this old dude is drawing dead. You canāt win the nomination just on favorable news coverage from the corporate media in 2019. Nobody likes or trusts them lol.

I agree personally, but the same thing was said over and over again about Trump in 2016. I think at some point you have to admit that most people are seeing this through an entirely different lens.

I went to a debate watch party. Feeling on the āstreetā is that Castro burned himself hard and came across like a jerk. Yang was too gimmickyā¦people are tired of gimmicks and feel like itās too much like what we have now. They liked Betoās fire, bitched about Kamala constantly pivoting to Trump and seeming awkward. They felt like Pete and Amy were āthe only adults in the roomā whatever that means. They were kind of meh about Biden and Booker. everyone was making the same comment about Sandersā voice and finger waggingā¦
As a whole, they thought Warren, Pete, and Beto had the best nights, with Amy coming in behind that (lmao). Bidenās slavery answer made everyone cringe. They loved Peteās Afghanistan answer, and his closing.
I see Beto getting a bump tonight, Castro falling out, and no one else really moving (Harris might drop, too)

All of my hearts. Castro, Yang, Beto, all looked great to be cabinet members. Its going to be Biden Warren Bernie and seriously doubt its Biden.

Iāve only watched a few minutes of coverage, but the trashing of Castro is such a joke. Like, if Biden did something like that to Castro, Warren, Sanders, Beto, etc, the narrative would be, āWhat, you canāt take a little heat? How in the world will you handle sharing the debate stage with Trump???ā
But you do it to Biden and itās, āDEAR GOD, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU??? HAVE YOU NO DECENCY???ā
Much of the āBiden leadingā narrative doesnāt address that thereās a very significant progressive vote-split issue.
Something has to be worked out and fairly quickly.
If you mean pundits, yeah, thereās a double standard for sure. However, I was with about 25 people as it was happening, and the immediate, in-the-moment reaction was āoh, no, Julian, thatās badā.

Iāve only seen the clips, so I guess Iām the wrong person to weigh in on this - I think that happened while I was on the side of the road after the car accident. Maybe it plays a lot differently in a clip after watching the record player answer live.
I mean Castro was factually wrong in the matter. Biden said something other than what Castro claimed Biden said about his healthcare plan. Talking about the media for reporting it like it was is something out of the deplorables playbooks. Castro is an ass for being wrong and questioning Bidenās memory.

I was on the side of the road while that happened, but form what I saw in the last half of the debate everybody on that stage, every moderator and every anchor should be questioning Bidenās memory.
