So we are to conclude both Greenpeace and the League of Conservation Voters are mistaken? Biased? In the pockets of big business?
I’m really confused.
Can anyone cite a single environmental group the ranks trump and Biden similarly?

Come on micro. You know what you are doing here. Look like 2 posts up from that one. His historical record is posted.
And Biden’s sucks. D-.
A couple more above that one.
What Greenpeace was ranking was current policy, not historical record. I cited his historical record from LCV.
You just pretending he didn’t get that D-?
Biden’s historical record stops in 2008. His good voting record is for things like voting for green energy tax credits. Thankfully in 2020 there are more people who realize that things like that are woefully inadequate.
Clovis, you know that Biden will not push for a climate plan that will make a meaningful impact on climate change. Why are you pretending like he will? Honestly
I didn’t say he would. This discussion is entirely couched in the assertion victoar made that there is no difference between Biden and trump when it comes to climate change.
Um no. But context matters. You are pretending that was a historical score. It was actually a ranking relative to other dem candidates in the field at the time. I’ve never denied he was among the worst of the dem candidates. He sucks. I’ve said so a million times but Don’t keep shifting the goal posts. Victoar said he was no different than trump. That is what we are debating.
83 to 91 is not a little difference
You would have me dead to rights if the comparison we were making was Biden to Bernie.
I’m not talking about Trump. You and Victor debate whatever you guys want.
Btw, are you voting for Biden?
Ok then we don’t disagree. Bernie is better than Biden. Does a single person on this forum disagree with this? It’s not a debate when both sides 100% agree.
Both bidens and trumps plans will lead to catastrophic sea level rise and a likely collapse of civilization as we know it… but you’re right, bidens plan isn’t as bad as trumps.
In fairness, it has been a pretty effective line of thinking over the past 3 years or so.
Trump has been led out of the White House in handcuffs what, 9 or 10 times so far? At least, I’m pretty sure I saw all the pre-celebratory discussions about that, I usually fall asleep before seeing the actual ending.
I just post about how much Biden sucks. People respond to that.
I guess you’re not going to vote for Biden? It’s not that hard. You’d probably get away with it.
ETA: Sorry, I forgot. Maybe you’re just not posting about it. You shouldn’t.
So you disagree with Greenpeace and LCV? What are they getting wrong?
Also I’d be curious if you could explain what Bernie proposed that would stop this outcome?
And I thought my posts were bad faith.*
*I really, really wanted to overlay a subtitled gif of Ledger’s Joker for this, but Photoshop is just insane with gifs, there’s like a hundred thousand automated features you can’t turn off, none of which have any conceivable use that I can think of, that make it very nearly impossible to do the sorts of things that 99.999% of people messing around with gifs are going to want to do, so that’s that.
They’re grading Biden on some idealized plan that’s obviously bullshit. It’s as silly as saying Trump has a great healthcare plan based on him saying insurance costs $12 a year.
If Trump turns a 180 on his past positions (not that Biden necessarily did that), should we take that as a good faith change of heart, or obvious bullshit?
I just know that we need to drop carbon emissions to basically nothing asap to avoid it and that there’s no way bidens plan would actually accomplish it. I have no idea why those groups are ok with his plan, maybe their grade literally means, “better than nothing but still not good enough.” Bernie understand the reality that we need a new deal or wartime effort to tackle the issue, while biden thinks we can get there by just making a few changes.
