Biden might be the worst politician I know when it comes to being confronted by a dissenting voter.
Biden definitely goes way overboard too often but I’m appreciative he doesn’t put up with total BS things thrown at him.
Seems like a weird rage boner to have, but whatevs. If you expect anyone, rich or poor, to throw their careers away for a meaningless, symbolic act, you’re going to be pissed at a lot of people.
fighting for M4A right now is not meaningless to the people without insurance and i’m fairly certain i dont have to explain this to you
Endorsing Bernie is neither synonymous with fighting for Medicare for All nor meaningful at this point.

she’s a sitting senator that co-sponsored the medicare for all bill in the senate that was authored by bernie, i think she should probably clarify what that support means at this point. looks to me like it is politically expedient support.
if she’s only out for number 1, ok, but don’t try to act like she is anything but a craven bullshit politician like the rest
i think you’re being pretty disingenuous here. acting like bernie has 0% equity, or that even if he does, medicare for all has 0% equity, or even if it did have a sliver of equity, that the morally correct position wouldn’t be to support it
i’m not sure if there is anything worse this cycle than the Liz Lads and Lasses that spent October telling us that the two candidates were the same, now spending March telling us that Liz doesn’t owe anyone squat

I’ve come around to the idea that Warren’s two-step approach to Medicare for All has a better chance of succeeding than Sanders’ plan that seems to rely on Brendan Nyhan’s Green Lantern Theory of the Presidency.
So, Warren voters are all voting Biden because even though they sang themselves lullabies, they were Biden voters “all along” … but Warren is a snake because she didn’t make her voters – who were never gonna do anything but vote Biden – vote Bernie?

At this point I don’t blame Warren at all. I don’t even blame GOPete or Klob or even Biden. The facts are that Bernie didn’t expand the electorate and turned out to be basically nobody’s second choice. I blame the media for deliberately turning persuadable people away from Bernie, and the people of this country for, I’m sorry to say it but it’s just the undeniable truth, being absolute stone cold fucking idiots.

I’m glad we have Deep State Liz to rely on for healthcare. She’s going to stay mum through the primary so she can enact her super secret double stage Medicare for All plan. She’s going to insure some people, show the results to congress, and its going to be so brilliant that Mitch McConnell is going to see the light and green light Medicare for All.
It’s a much better plan than just showing off all the sick and dying people and mobilizing from day 1 around a common goal of moral decency

no she’s a snake because she cosponsored M4A in the Senate, reiterated that she was “with bernie on medicare for all” in the july debate, and has fuck all to say about it now.

warren clearly doesn’t believe in her stated goals or policies. she talked a good game though, she had me believing a few months ago that she wanted M4A. so i don’t blame you for being hoodwinked before that. now though, if you claim to have believed in what she was selling, and you aren’t with bernie, you either never believed it or you’re dumb.

I believe she wants M4A but it’s not her priority. Her priorities are anti-corruption, the wealth tax, and taking down people like Bloomberg. She’s willing to make compromises on health care to get the things she cares about the most.
If she thinks Sanders has almost no chance of winning, she will withhold her endorsement if doing so enables her to cock-block Bloomberg and minimize his influence. Doing so leads to the most progressive outcome, on average, if the probability of a Bernie victory falls below some threshold.

If she believes that bernie told her a woman couldn’t win then he lied about it right to her face and Bernie campaigned in Massachusetts mostly to try to take her out of the race. That would explain a lot of why she won’t endorse him.
Sure, he didn’t do anything wrong in campaigning but it’s gotta be like baseball where that’s an unwritten rule for one senator to do that to another one.
My god why Biden? If it had to be anyone other than Sanders there’s like 10 better off top of my head fml

Yeah, I mean anyone except Copmala who will probably be VP lol. I’m partial to Booker if we had to pick a centrist. Or would be over the moon to take Warren now, despite all of the problems and how poorly she has handled herself.
