Democratic Primaries 2020 - Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Just…wow.

Please, Never Trumpers, regale us with your wisdom on how the party you don’t really support needs to fix things.

no, the alternative is the end of many lives and the rise of horrific regimes all around the world. You suck it up and vote for f’n Bloomberg if you have to. At least he probably won’t end the world.

Oh yes I’m sure voting for Trump a second time will be a real hardship for Grizy. You hate to see it.

What does this mean?

I’m a nonviolent leftist, so instead of telling you you’ll be first against the wall or headed to the guillotine I’ll simply pay no mind to you or others like you. We don’t need or want your vote (not that we’d ever get it anyway). Peace :v:

It means

  1. You go on ignore list
  2. Still read every post
  3. Still reply to many posts
  4. Get big mad at thought of you existing

So if the party screws up and selects Bloomberg to run against Trump you will help Trump get re-elected because of spite?

Remember that a central thesis for Bernie’s campaign is that these people dont exist:

Huh? I voted for (and gave money to) Hillary and I will vote against Trump no matter who’s on the ticket in 2020.

I think too that voters care about the big win every four years, but they mostly recognize that no candidate is fighting for them. This is an elite class fighting for elite interests and pandering to the common people.

Bernie feels different. He is mobilizing voters on every level. They see what he wants to accomplish, and he and the new wing of Dems like AOC are awakening generations of voters to the possibility and strategy of getting meaningful reform accomplished by voting for candidates on every level who can work together to accomplish this.

If he can win, then voters see they no longer have to settle. In an odd way, I think Chapelle was right when he said Trump might be the lie that opens our eyes to what’s truly possible, for good and for bad.

Bernie would campaign for Bloomberg. He’s a better man than me.

This is 100% accurate

I can see Bernie laying out a plan, once he secures the nomination, to go to all 50 states and campaign for state leg, house, and senate progressives against both GOP and to primary centrist Dem.

I think it would depend on my pay scale whether I would vote for Bloomberg or just flee to Canada…

For the Low wage workers I’d take my chances in another country tbh.

Once we add DC and PR as states there’s 4 more senate seats and a handful of house seats, too.

It’s completely fair if you think that a corrupt Democratic establishment is at least as big of a villain in this story as Trump.

Some people say that beating Trump is the priority. You’re saying that no, it isn’t. If you want to be able to defend yourself against people who say you are wrong, then it helps to be able to explain why you think the way you do.

So, your course makes sense if you believe that a corrupt party overriding the will of the voters is a bigger threat than Trump and that your actions do something to forward that agenda.

Nothing is a bigger threat than Trump to people with legitimate things to lose.

The rest is a parlor game for white people.
