Just one question though: If a Bernie supporter called the Bernie campaign claiming they got polled and the person asking the questions left Bernie off the poll, and the bernie campaign then called up selzer and said, hey, what’s going on, why you leavin’ my dude off the polls and then Selzer went and looked and said, oops, we can’t be sure this entire poll is legit now, let’s pull it and confirm or cancel or fix it or whatever, WE NEED MORE TIME…
would you still be blaming Pete?

Pete and Repeat were two candidates in an election. Pete’s name may have been left off the ballot. Who was the winner?

I have absolutely no idea how Klob has ever won any kind of election ever.
So Bernie WAS cut off of the lists as well? Oh no, but that ruins the narrative!

If the candidate names were randomized, then the effect washes out for large n and has diminishing effects that tend to 0 as the number of tainted interviews → 0. But it’s not really believable that one of the top candidates did not appear a significant number of times with no one noticing.

I mean they literally published an entire florida poll that didnt include Bernie. And trump tweeted about it as evidence he was owning in dems, because he was beating the dems they did in clude in the poll there (biden warren pete and bloom i believe)
