Could you imagine writing that after the whole bed bug incident? I think I’d have too much shame/integrity.
Bed bug incident?
Someone called him a bed bug as a joke and he tried to compare it to the jews being persecuted by the nazis. He posted something showing him do a google search to find a reference to nazis calling jews bed bugs.
I don’t remember well but I’m sure someone will have a better explanation
I’m pretty sure Bret then emailed the guys boss and tried to get him fired, then offered to have some kind of civility summit after the I WANT YOUR MANAGER routine failed.
Can’t both be stupid?
Probably not a popular opinion here, but the outrage over the new debate rules is stupid. Bloomberg is polling 4th nationally. He should be in the debate. I wish Booker was still around and in the debates but he just didn’t have any support.
just maxed out to Bernie
take this , King
While this may be true, Trump still wins in that scenario because the left’s vote gets split up. The only path, and it’s extremely narrow, would be Bernie turning out enough new voters who are independents to win, but it’s just not likely. In that scenario it’d probably be something like:
Trump 60M
Bernie 40M
Biden 30M
This, too. Except Trump wouldn’t likely be favored, he’d be damn near a slam dunk.
True.
My conscious would tell me to do my best to stop Trump, even if that’s unlikely.
Can’t open twitter without seeing this. We are so fucked
Twitter freaks =/= real life. On either side.
Maybe I’m a berniebro at this point but wtf?? Hillary can lob Cruise missiles at him and his surrogates aren’t even allowed to respond in kind? Are you fucking kidding me??
lol, does anyone think this does anything but help Bernie?
He needs to control his women and stop them mouthing off about their “opinions” or whatever.
It seems to me the Superpredator line was all projection
“In the long run, the problem of the fleeing corporations must be dealt with on the national level by legislation which will bring about the public ownership of the major means of production and their conversion into worker-controlled enterprises,” he said.
“There is a handful of people sitting at the head of the main banks controlling the destiny of underprivileged nations, the country as well as Vermont’s economy,” Sanders said. “That is not tolerable. That control cannot be held by them. We need public control over capital; and the capital must be put to use for public need not for the advancement of those who made the investments.”
“I favor the public ownership of utilities, banks and major industries. In Vermont we have some $2 billion of deposits in our banks,” Sanders told the paper. “In Vermont, as well as nationally, it is not tolerable to me that the control of capital would remain in the hands of the richest two or three percent of the population to do with it as they like.”
“I believe in socialized medicine, public ownership of the drug companies and placing doctors on salaries. The idea that millionaires can make money by selling poor people drugs that they desperately need for highly inflated prices disgusts me,” he said.
“I would also urge you to give serious thought about the eventual nationalization of these gigantic companies,” Sanders wrote in a December 1973 open letter to Vermont Sen. Robert Stafford that ran in the Vermont Freeman. “It is extremely clear that these companies, owned by a handful of billionaires, have far too much power over the lives of Americans to be left in private hands. The oil industry, and the entire energy industry, should be owned by the public and used for the public good – not for additional profits for billionaires.”
“Nobody should earn more than a million dollars,” Sanders said.

“These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who’s the banana republic now?”
Notable Venezuela is well… Venezuela and Argentina has interest rates at 58%. Argentine cenbank says cuts benchmark interest rate to 58% from 63% | Reuters
lol at thinking this hurts his reputation here or anywhere else. Concern troll fail.
