Do we know who his voter’s second choice is?
I’m going to try to make this as simple as possible for you.
I said you look ignorant and unhinged for calling someone an establishment shill when I have the credibility of having been right about 2016 when you were laughably wrong and have the receipts to show I’ve been supporting progressive candidates for a long time. I’m glad you’re finally aboard the progressive cause but that doesn’t give you any right or credibility to disparage me or others the way you have.
Preaching unity among the progressive wing and constantly trying to remind you we’re on the same team does not equal gatekeeping.
Cussing out people and calling them establishment shills when they support the same causes as you is gatekeeping.
Urban Dictionary: Gatekeeping Here’s a definition if it helps you.
Please roll the tape on that.
John Delaney, a businessman and former Maryland congressman who launched a bid for the presidency nearly three years ago, has dropped out of the race, saying in a statement that he doesn’t want to take support away from other moderate candidates in [Monday’s Iowa caucuses.]
It’s actually why he dropped out of the race!
Even though I don’t read his posts I’m glad Vict0ar is here. The completely insane fringe of Bernie supporters is a real thing and it’s very hard to hand wave them away here when one of them is busily being AIDS in our threads.
To be fair most candidates have some toxic supporters, but unfortunately Bernie seems to have more than most. It is what it is I guess. It’s a demographic and I’d rather have them than not have them probably.
Chances there was pressure from the party rated: high.
I think on balance it’s a good thing. If x% of people are getting over-enthusiastic that means that many more people are getting the right amount of enthusiastic. No one is devoted enough to mayo pete to lash out at “shills” and “haters” in an overbearingly creepy way. If you don’t have some over-committed lunatics supporting you you’re not trying hard enough.
Depends on what you mean by toxic and Bernie’s supporters are younger and more online.
"Hahaha fuck you Pete supporters!
Also can you please vote for Bernie now?"
Lol
Lol @ “shills and haters”
Because I mean, on the other hand, under-investment in politics or a lack of investment in politics is often a result of ideological blindness (that tends to sustain a class position).
Pete’s supporters will mostly go to Biden, I’d imagine, but apparently some can be won over through nonsense like the Bérnié perfume commercial and Hot Girls for Bernie.
People are really trying to einbert Vict0ar, huh?
Einbert made 1000x more sense in his posts than Vic
Toxic Delaney stans are the worst, glad we don’t have to hear from them anymore.
I like both of them.
But…einbert and Vict0ar have opposite problems. Einbert, who was awesome before maybe joining a cult*, didn’t just become a communist. He became a vacant troll who would not interact with people at all. He just posted political rants and completely ignored the room. He wouldn’t even respond to anyone - people he used to talk to freely and were not hostile to him - asking him about it. Vict0ar goes overboard with direct hostility towards, not just candidates or political ideas and such, but with the actual people here in the room. (he is often responding to hostility directed toward him to be sure)
*He would never respond to this, but I suspect he joined the Revolutionary Communist Party USA which is very culty. See Bob Avakian.
Because of that ad Sanders isn’t my no.1 choice anymore
KillerMike 2020
Damn. I feel like an idiot for ever being on team Liz. I went to two Bernie events in 2016 and that’s really what got me back into politics.
Not going to lie, you got me there. I was like “wtf did I miss???”
Seriously though, that ad gave me goosebumps.
