I was thrilled when Obama picked him.
I just found out that the De La Fuente on the democratic primary ballot is the son of the De La Fuente on the republican ballot. Also there is a guy named Robby Wells who will be on the democratic ballot.
Kind of my point
Dropping by to say I’m just shocked by how much free money there is floating around on PredictIt RN. Bloomberg or Buttigieg at anything above 0% to win any primary is a joke.
Bernie has a good response to “how will you do what you want” that he gave on JRE.
The gist is that he will use the Presidential bully pulpit to push the Congressional Dems towards his way of thinking, and also push for Dem challengers that share his ideology. It’s pretty obvious that Trump has done basically the same thing, so I think it would be a viable strat.
I have a hard time imagining any non-authoritarian president having the kind of following Trump has where every single party member in every kind of District is afraid to speak out or vote against them lest they be turned out. Like Chuck Schumer will not be afraid of Bernie or Liz.
A Dem like Biden can be very dangerous though. Every Republican-lite policy will get the Republican vote and enough Dem vote to pass.
Ever since I saw the meme with him and the Chuck E Cheese rat I haven’t been able to see anything else when I see him.
Hard to say, I think Bernie along with a rising in power AOC/progressive caucus could be pretty fearless and effective at consolidating power over the next 8 years. Not to mention DeMoGrAPHIc shifts.
Damn that guy came ready. Pete at least shows he can handle the tough questions, I appreciate that. Biden would have told the guy to vote for someone else.
Let me guess: Ohio Trump voters aren’t super into spicy vegetarian curries from foreign lands. Really surprising revelation there.
Is that guy in yellow farting on everyone?
This forum always amazes me that people still really believe that the DNC, which is run by a bunch of incompetent buffoons, the same people who couldn’t stop trump, couldn’t stop steyer or bloomberg from running (who are helping bernie more than anything else), all of a sudden will find a way to rig things against bernie, a man who they really didn’t attack at all in 16, and only now barely have started in 20 despite him being a real threat to win this entire time and also more people are running in biden’s lane, none of whom seem like they’ll be dropping out until super tuesday which again gives bernie a better chance.
I get you’re all big bernie fans, but come on.
I suspect the correlation with Indian food and Sanders support is the same as this one:
Is there any polling out there for statewide primaries? Seems like the establishment backed candidate for senate in texas supports a public option, so I don’t want to vote for them. But I also don’t want to vote for a m4a supporter that has no chance at winning. I’d think a runoff is likely and it would really suck if it just ended up as two establishment hacks.
Only 44% of Bernie supporters in 2016 have Bernie as their #1 in 2020. Lol. Just another reminder that most of the general public is just clicking buttons.
Also, 25% moved to Warren as their number one, but tell me more about how his 2016 support was driven by sexism.
I mean those numbers aren’t really shocking. Lots of people seriously just hated Clinton. And 25% supporting Warren is pretty reasonable. Makes sense he had a significant amount of support from people who weren’t quiet as progressive as him, but stilled preferred him over Clinton. I think almost all of those people will be on board though if he wins the first couple states and/or Warren drops out.
The only thing odd is the 11% for Biden. I’m going with most of those people just being sexist and or idiots.
