I’d think most dems would want peace. I’m also talking about stuff like Israel Anti-Boycott Act. We go above and beyond just supporting them against Palestine.

More sympathy for Israel in the dispute. Overwhelmingly so in the GOP, moderately so in the Dems.
I assume (hope?) a lot of it is just ignorance of the situation. I don’t know how someone can hear about the blockade and settlements and just kinda be like, yea ok thats fine.
Fascists, er Republicans, worship strength. Israel has overwhelming military superiority. Evangelicals have their crazy reasons. We’ve been at war with Islamic majority countries/Islam for 20 years.
That’s the attitude that conservatives use to wave away things they support that poll badly.
There’s not a huge voting bloc that wants BDS.

Looking at the electoral college, I still think biden’s path is a little easier than bernie’s to 270 but I’m not gonna be rustled or anything if bernie beats him in the primary. They each have different challenges in 2020 general election vs trump. I just hope each realizes more than Hillary did which states are important.

New Jersey is an underrated place that Bernie might struggle. They elected Chris Christie governor for 8 years, have a lot of wealthy suburbanites who are happy with the status quo, Bernie lost to Hillary by 30+ points there in 2016.
Virginia is another one for largely the same reasons as NJ. There are a lot of New York Times/CNN style Democrats who possess a lot of wealth and would vote Trump over Bernie (but never tell their friends about it) for economic reasons and then vote D on the rest of the ballot. Bernie also lost to Hillary by 30 points here in 2016.
and can probably forget about flipping Texas (way too much oil money/oil interests) and Florida (way too many 65+ olds, the only category Bernie really struggles in).
Bernie would win Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and have a crack at Ohio.
