He never fails to deliver, does he? Honestly, I thought he had me on ignore.
You didn’t reply to my post btw.
To add to it, If Liz was in the lead and Bernie was doing decent, and he dropped out to endorse Biden and direct his organization to canvass for Biden and his supporters to vote for Biden, yes, I’d be livid.
aww, i love you too
But Biden’s SCOTUS picks will be just as bad or even worse than Trump’s, the posters ITT have assured me as such. Sotomayor is indistinguishable from Kavanaugh iyam.

Morons, the topic of you begging people to vote for the demented rapist even has its own thread. Go bump it!

Can someone with a logical brain please answer a question for me?
Many ITT have claimed that supporters of candidates who failed should be angry, livid, or uncontrollably outraged at those candidates for failing. Why was I not more angry at Pete? Why isn’t @alex calling for Liz Warren’s head?
If we are going off the assumption that this should be the way of things, then why the hell aren’t you all more upset at Bernie? Why are you not livid that he failed in his campaign? Why aren’t you outraged that his staff fucked this up and apparently had a strategy that fell apart when one or two players fell on grenades? What blindness led his team to not even consider the possibility that the center would coalesce early?
Oddly, I’m more angry at Bernie’s campaign than I am at Pete’s. Pete ran an incredible campaign. He hit a triple off a Luis Castillo changeup. Bernie batted 8th, swung and whiffed off a floater right down the middle, and now we’re left with a .057-avg pitcher at the plate with 2 outs and a full count, when we’re down by a run.
Introspection and logical thinking…too much to ask?
This is a weird post. I don’t think you should be angry with Pete because he lost. I think you should be angry with Pete because he’s a fraud who sold out the things you claim to care about. He marketed himself as a change candidate but when push came to shove, what he really cared about was what was good for Pete.
I don’t know what he was promised to drop out just before Super Tuesday, but it had to have been something. What out of Pete’s “defense of democracy” agenda, or any other part of his policy preference, was adopted by Biden? If he’s going to come to heel and help out the near brain-dead establishment candidate, shouldn’t he at least extract some policy concessions? He didn’t because whatever he got for doing that was some backroom thing that is good for Pete, because climbing the ladder is really what he’s about. All the policy stuff will get jettisoned in a heartbeat if he spots some way he can gnaw a route closer to personal power and glory.
Some Bernie fans are frustrated with Bernie because they think he didn’t run an optimal campaign, but it’s like, our guy threw a couple interceptions in a playoff game and that sucks, but your guy is like a Jets quarterback who gave the finger to the fans and then quit and signed with the Patriots. And you’re like mad? Why would I be mad? I don’t get it.
gnaw

Biden Attacks Warren as a ‘My Way or the Highway’ Elitist - The New York Times
Are you arguing that Warren is/would have been treated the same as Bernie by the party? Because the counterpoint to that is the Obama retweet yesterday.
Lol. Yeah, now she’s bent the knee and is totally irrelevant. Everyone loves her.
Game of Thrones narratives are as realistic as West Wing narratives.
For one, I didn’t even say it was wrong. It is a hilariously biased framing, almost a parody of itself, but that’s not wrong unless Ezra gaslights about how hilariously obvious it is, which he hasn’t. He seemed to even acknowledge it by saying that it was only meant to show trump’s incompetence and not erase Bernie. But it is like an Onion headline.
A story that portrays another prominent Dem senator in a positive way isn’t a slight at Bernie unless you’re just looking for things to be outraged about. It’s even more hilarious when taking into account that he invited Bernie on too and was rejected. And even after being bashed by Bernie’s team continues to invite him on.

This example implies Pete contributed something to the democratic primary, or to the party as a whole, or to the causes he pretended to care about, while Bernie hurt those same things.
Bernie has shifted the Overton window for the party significantly to the left in the last 4 years, while Pete fought tooth and nail to drag it back towards the right, culminating in an endorsement of an all time bad candidate two days before Super Tuesday.
It is very much more like Bernie sparked a rally that resulted in bases loaded, and Pete walked to the plate, winked at the pitcher, laid down a bunt and allowed himself to be tagged out.
This example implies Pete contributed something to the democratic primary, or to the party as a whole,
He absolutely did though.
Problem is that what he contributed was setting back the timetable for Medicare for All and other progressive policies a few years.

More like Pete was a fastball specialist, who after making it to the show became a knuckler, scuffing the balls with contraband provided to him by the team’s owner and then walked off the mound in the 4th inning with the game tied 1-1 before the manager even came out because league commissioners offered him a cushy front office job if he left the game.

You never can tell what’s what with these “X for [candidate]” accounts and all, but yeesh.
